Women Linguistic Features in Gossiping found in Twitter

The topic of this study is about women’s gossip in twitter. Twitter is a free social media. This study formulates the problems: what kinds of women’s gossip there are used in twitter and what linguistic features of women’s in twitter. This methodology in the research are consist of the method that is used by writer is qualitative method, because it is an appropriate approach for his study to support the validity of this research and to analyze the obtained data which are in the form of qualitative in nature. This study is aimed to find out the kinds of women’s gossip that are used in twitter and to describe linguistic features of women’s gossip in twitter. The result of this study shows that types of gossip are mostly applied in twitter is chit – chat. And then the linguistic feature found in the twitter used women is mostly expressed in a formal language.
