Various media and methods of learning are very closely related and determine the level of success in teaching the four basic language abilities, especially in teaching Chinese. Listening is the most basic ability in Chinese Language abilities. Listening is the input, and Speaking is the output. So, the Speaking ability is the product of the Listening ability.
Researcher uses the media Flashcard and Realia specifically to teach the Listening ability and Speaking ability are really correct. Realia which the real objects and Flashcard which presented in chinese characters and pictures to teach the Grade VI Gloria III Christian School Surabaya could create situational teaching in class.
From the results of this research, it can be concluded that Flashcard and Realia are very useful for teaching Chinese Language, which are the parts of Situational Language Teaching method is successful to improve students listening and speaking ability. That media also make the students more enthusiastic and interested to learning Chinese Language.
