ABSTRACT
Beginning of currency values can be regarded as a means of payment or barter exchange can be overcome by creating an exchange unit in the form of other currencies. By means of this exchange constraints experienced by barter transactions begin to be overcome. No need to wait until the bad stuff or the other party requiring the goods that we have. Humans began to recognize the money though in the ancient form. Over time, this exchange tools also found a number of its own complexity and constraints.
Fractional coins and paper that we use for thousands of years is too long start to cause problems of its own over the times. The reason is because the modern human mobility and higher. Although paper money is enough light, whether a person if traveling abroad should carry berkoper-suitcase of money? Paper money can also be damaged, torn, burnt or stolen. In addition, if a person must first exchange foreign currency country of destination. Things like this is what ultimately led to the idea of creating money in other forms that can accommodate all of it. The first hypothesis assumed that the motivation variable (X1), Perception (X2), Attitude (X3) and Trust (X4) simultaneously influence consumers to variable (Y) making use of credit cards in Surabaya has been proven. This proved Fhitung 27 391> 2.47 Ftabel. Thus the first hypothesis proved to be the coefficient of determination (R2) is 73.2% which means that the contribution of a given motivation, perception, attitudes and beliefs towards making use of 73.2%, and the rest caused by other factors.
The second hypothesis states that the perception variables (X2) as the most dominant variable was not proven. In this study proved to be the most dominant variables that affect the decision is the use of perceptual variables (X2), this can be demonstrated with the highest standardized beta coefficients is equal to 0.291 or 29.1% contained on perception variables (X2).
