Pengaruh CAR, BOPO, LDR, NIM, dan NPL terhadap ROA perusahaan perbankan di bursa efek Indonesia


ABSTRACT
Banking has a very vital role in achieving the national goals related to the enhancement and alignment of the standard of living and to support the passage of the economy given its function as an intermediary institutions, providers of payment transactions, as well as a tool of monetary policy transmission. In carrying out its function as an intermediary, the bank bases its activities on public confidence. The financial performance of the bank is a picture of the financial condition of banks in a given period covers both aspects of fund raising and distribution of funds. Financial performance of banking is one of the important factors for banks to see how the bank is doing its performance if it is good or not good. The main objective is to reach the level of the bank's operations maximum profitability. Profitability is the ability of banks to generate profit or gain is effectively and efficiently. ROA is used because it can take into account the ability of the bank's management in overall profit.
This study was conducted to determine the effect of variable Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Expenses Operating Income (ROA), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Non-Performing Loans (NPL) on Return On Asset (ROA) banking company in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study are annual reports of banking companies in 2009-2012. The dependent variable used in this study is the ROA, while the independent variables used are CAR, ROA, LDR, NIM, and NPL.
Hypothesis testing used is multiple linear regression. When viewed from the F test can be concluded that there is a linear relationship between variables and t test results indicate that CAR, ROA, LDR, ROA and NIM affect the banking company in Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the NPL does not affect the ROA banking company in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
Suggestions in this study aimed at the banking company, customers, investors and subsequent researchers.
